Mani,

I have encountered this problem too at a customer some time
ago. It caused several of their firewall clusters to go maniac on
them. This problem is a known one and there are solutions to it.
I provided several links for you where you can look at:

http://www.phoneboy.com/faq/0301.html
http://www.geocrawler.com/archives/3/98/2001/7/0/6296793/

All those advisories werent very helpfull for me but I solved
it an other way :o). I just removed the syslog entry that pipes
it to the console (which caused the little DoS on their firewalls).
Those servers run on Solaris so I dont know if it works for
Nokia boxes.

Anyway... probably this gives you some more info...

Regards,

Brenno
