This article was written in 1998, and obviously it is too old. Most (if not all) major firewall systems can support NetMeeting by opening and trearing down UDP ports automatically now. At least with my experience, Cisco PIX and SafeGuard.
 
But, it's still interesting to read the section of NetMeeting's inherent vulnerabilities.

I have been asked to modifiy our firewall's rulebase to permit Net Meeting between an internal user and a vendor.  Beyond the open ports themselves, are there other security considerations?
