The SOHO is entirely different from the Firebox II/III line of products of which
the 700 is one - the SOHO uses web management and is more like a VPN & DSL/Cable
router with rather basic security features whereas the Firebox II/III can be
regarded as a good firewall for the inexperienced/part-time security
administrator that is not a dedicated security expert. I would recommend the FB
II/III line for 'standard' (for lack of a better term) network setups that
require a single DMZ only and that supports the most widely used network
protocols through application proxies. If you feel that you need application
proxy support for more exotic protocols though, then it's probably not an
option.
