As far as I know, Intel has discontinued the Netstructure line of products
but is still
developing and selling the technology to OEM's (HP)? I'm Not really sure if
you can still get
support contracts for older products though.

http://support.intel.com/support/netstructure/vpn/31455.htm

You can manage the box from the command line which is very similar to IOS,
or a proprietary GUI manager.
They work fairly well for site to site and remote user VPN tunnels using
IPSEC and SST,
the latter being a proprietary protocol. The only advantage to SST is that
you
can sneak a VPN tunnel through an ISP who is blocking IPSEC.

The "firewall" allows you to set up basic rules and does stateful
inspection.
For a small office situation this might be ok but you might want to look at
a more flexible, scaleable product if you have a large user population.

Hope this helps,
Kevin

Has anyone used the Intel Netstructure 3110 as a VPN/firewall solution. What
is your opinion of it? How well does it work, etc?
