Dear FIS Colleagues,

Let me point two important characteristic of “Background to Modern Science”
in addition of freedom to doubt the dogmas.

(1) The freedom to make experiments (It is easy to remember Da Vinci, who
make his experiments in ”dark”).

(2) The freedom to work together with scientists, which belong to other
“monastery”.

The modern science is tight collaboration between scientists from different
countries and institutions.
This remarkable possibility become available only in several European
countries in Early modern period (starting after Johannes Gutenberg
invention ~XV century).

Yes, great scientists there were in the ancient time all over the world, but
globalization of the science is born in Europe during establishing the
"European" empires (Britain, Spain, French, etc.).

Friendly regards

Krassimir
