Thank you for this most interesting restatement to which I can
relate much more positively than to your previous one. I think
you have captured well here the fundamental role and some of the
dialectic characteristics of information, also of a science of
information as I see them.
Just two comments if I may: 1) like information itself, your
theory is, like my own, partly true and partly false. Thus if
one says that "information is everything", you risk losing
meaning rather than gaining it. 2) I disagree with Wiener's
statement and believe that it has contaminated the discussion of
information for "60 years". Information cannot, in my view, be
separated from the energy that constitutes it, and whose
properties it, also, embodies.
Something that is, as I fully agree, "self-contradictory"
requires a new logic (perhaps my Logic in Reality is a
candidate) and new mode of thinking (Wu's Informational
Thinking, for example) for proper analysis. It is tools like
this, including as I said last year your schema of three
attributes FOR SOME ABSTRACT ASPECTS of information, not all of
them, that can help make progress.

Sorry. I think, any science in whole discipline on world is
information science, in other words, all sciences are
science about information.
Floridi.L wrote, Information has thus arisen as a concept as
fundamental and important as “being”, “knowledge”, “life”,
“intelligence”, “meaning” or “good and evil”—all pivotal
concepts with which it is interdependent and so equally
worthy of autonomous investigation. It is also a more
impoverished concept, in terms of which the other can be
expressed and interrelated, when not defined. In this sense,
Evans was right: Evans had the idea that there is a much
cruder and more fundamental concept than that of knowledge
on which philosophers have concentrated so much, namely the
concept of information. (Luciano Floridi: "What is the
Philosophy of Information?" 2002.) But I think that
information cover “being”, “knowledge”, “life”,
“intelligence”, “meaning” or “good and evil”.
Information is considered an ambiguity used confusedly.
Information actually can be both material and mental,
existing or conscious, produced or received, true or false,
real or fictitious, right or wrong, remembered or forgotten,
known or unknown; it can exist objectively but cannot be
perceived subjectively, or vice versa; and it can be
powerful or weak, have tangible or intangible value, and so
on. True information is mingled with false, and sometimes it
appears while sometimes it disappears. So, information,
conventionally understood, is self-contradictory.
In 1948 Wiener put forward, “Information is information, not
matter or energy.” What is the Information? This “Wiener
maze” has been 60 years since the essential attributes of
information were explored in the field of philosophy. I
think, Information is the collection of three kinds of

understand the concept “information”.
