actually, i like the prompt in the wrong place, because it shows clearly
that the output of the command is broken, so when writing scripts i get
the: "ugh, this looks ugly, better add a newline" reaction, whereas
otherwise i might not notice and not bother and then wonder why others
are complaining (or worse, not complain but just think i write ugly
scripts) if i happen to share the script with someone else.
