The nice and friendly warning will tell them what happened, and they
can copy the files back. That way, they've lost nothing, though I'll
admit they've also gained nothing in that particular case.

A sympathise, but I would argue that simply moving a file is not so
much mucking around as gently poking.

If you can come up with a few more cases that are non-silly in your
eyes, feel free to run them by me. I have been known to change my mind
whenever there is a wind is blowing on the moon.
