Hi

Have you guys noticed that every time you paste an indented multi-line
command, this adds another level of indentation to it? The new
auto-indentation adds to the pre-indented code that is being pasted.

This is not nice, because:
1. you can't paste pre-formatted code from a webpage or saved file
2. history search does not work across sessions if the daemon is not running
3. cancelled commands are not in the history (bug)
4. some (silly) people prefer to use the mouse over the keyboard

One way to solve this is to enforce the god-given indentation style on
the command lines.

Or, you could allow reformatting on a line, only after some text has
been typed in the line.

Cheers,
Philip
