only if there is another way to add a newline inthe middle of a line. most often i want to split up a long line into multiple lines when it got to long. however i don't like the \<enter> to add new lines that much anyways, so if an alternate is provided i would not mind. greetings, martin. ps: i am not running the latest version of fish anymore, because i have trouble updating from darcs. something is broken in my repository and darcs leaves me in the dark (pun intended :-) as to a way how to fix it other than wiping my repository and getting a fresh one. but i don't think that is intended. what would be the way to: make my repository identical to upstream (maybe except these two changes)? (i think compiling the package out of the source tree is what messes the tree up) greetings, martin. -- cooperative communication with sTeam - caudium, pike, roxen and unix offering: programming, training and administration - anywhere in the world -- pike programmer travelling and working in europe open-steam.org unix system- bahai.or.at iaeste.(tuwien.ac|or).at administrator (caudium|gotpike).org is.schon.org Martin Bähr http://www.iaeste.or.at/~mbaehr/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
