Hi fisherpeople, I tried to compile fish (1.22.3) on cygwin but ran into difficulties. I found an entry in the archive describing some hardcore hacker stuff (I'm more into softcore hacker stuff) about modifying both configure.ac and Makefile.in to compile for cygwin. But it seems it does not matter to me.

However Cygwin claims to have ncurses 5.5-3 installed (If I look in the GUI I get from running setup.exe). Can someone please walk me through how I can tell if the [curses|ncurses].
