When I have a command such as
curl --help
and press control-w to delete the last word, I end up with
curl --
and if I do again, I end up with naught at all. This isn't the most
useful behavior.
More useful would be either of two things: First preference would be for
the first to delete " --help" and the second to delete "curl", second
preference would be to first delete "help", then " --" then "curl"
