Thanks for the report. Are you sure, though, that fish has crashed? On my system, I can press any key and get the shell back. Having to press a key before the shell returns is obviously a misfeature, and possibly showing a stack trace on this error is a bit too scary to be the right thing to do, but at least nothing is crashing.
