Hello!
Using the latest development version of fish, I am experiencing the a
relatively annoying issue (which also existed previously to me pulling and
compiling the 29 latest patches) - tab completing inside a sshfs mounted
file system makes fish segfault every time. This happens when tab completing
a path when attempting to do a 'cd', but not when doing i.e. 'ls'.
noosbry...@playmo ~ $ fish
Welcome to fish, the friendly interactive shell
Type help for instructions on how to use fish
noosbry...@playmo ~> cd remote/toad/Segmentation fault (core dumped)
noosbry...@playmo ~ $ fish
Welcome to fish, the friendly interactive shell
Type help for instructions on how to use fish
noosbry...@playmo ~> cd remote/toad/MusSegmentation fault (core dumped)
noosbry...@playmo ~ $
The first prompt here (before launching fish) is bash. Let me make things a
little clearer:
noosbry...@playmo ~> cd remote/toad/<TAB>Segmentation fault (core dumped)
noosbry...@playmo ~> cd remote/toad/Mus<TAB>Segmentation fault (core dumped)
...tab completing 'cd remote/toad/' works fine (but no further), tab
completing 'ls remote/toad/Music/' works fine.
This is under Ubuntu 8.10, using the latest patches:
darcs show repo | grep Patches
Num Patches: 1774
Let me know if there's any further useful info I can provide you.
Regards,
Christian :--)
