Hi,
I downloaded, unpacked, and invoked configure & make but it died on
libintl and libiconv undefined symbols. It was easy to see that the 'gcc'
command did not have references to those libraries. I fixed it by invoking
configure like this (using bash):
LDFLAGS="-liconv -lintl" ./configure
