Hello all! I am using FISH for a long time as my default shell in my Mac. There is a feature missing though which I'd like to ask if it is doable.
When I use BASH, when I open a new tab in the terminal, the new shell has the same PWD as the old one. Even if I start a BASH shell (from within FISH) and then open a new shell (which will be FISH since this is my default shell), the new FISH shell will have the same PWD as the BASH shell. If I open a new shell (a new tab) from a FISH shell (which also would be a FISH shell), I don't have this functionality.
