I resurrected Fedora's fish package, and it's on its way to updates-testing. You should be able to try it in a few hours on Fedora 19, 20, or Rawhide with:
$ sudo yum --enablerepo=updates-testing install fish The spec and patches are here: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/fish.git/tree/ Let me know if you have any feedback. Also, if you like the packages, you could update the webpage with instructions.
