Hi All,

I've been using fish since last year May on Ubuntu 13.10 desktop. I
installed it from the Ubuntu repos.

Few days back I started seeing strange completion options for some git
commands I frequently used.

Eg, I'm working on a project to whose remote repo I push code, maybe twice
a week. On resuming work after a hiatus of 2 weeks, I was expecting the
command to appear as I type, instead I did not see the usual completion,
but this on pressing the Up arrow key:

$- cmd: git push -f origin issue-1102

(I had typed 'git push' and after nothing appeared, pressed "Up" arrow key)

I'm also working on the fish shell source itself (making minor changes),
but that build has a different installed prefix so it should not interfere
with the one installed from repo.

Any idea what could be going on?

The history is not lost, but it's irritating to sometime remove the leading
"- cmd:" string!

Thanks,
-mandeep
