I am trying to install and use fish in a computer where I do not have su
priviledges (e.g. in school).
I downloaded the source and compiled it (I did not 'make install', just
'configure' and 'make'). I put it in some directory, then I ran fish from
bash. It failed. Unfortunately, I haven't copied the output.
Is there a way to use fish without installing it?
