I would suggest to start with Squeak <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squeak> and
Etoys <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etoys_(programming_language)>. There
is a talk by Alan Kay at Ted
<https://www.ted.com/talks/alan_kay_shares_a_powerful_idea_about_ideas?language=en#t-955241>
which has a brief demo of it. From what I understand, kids can do some real
learning with it.
