I am pleased to announce a bug fix release of fish - 2.7.1. This release fixes one problem which affected users of iTerm2 on macOS, where users received an annoying warning on starting each new shell. The tarball and packages for Linux, OS X and Windows will soon be available from https://fishshell.com/ and the release notes will be at https://fishshell.com/release_notes.html - but in the meantime I have uploaded the release to the GitHub releases page at: https://github.com/fish-shell/fish-shell/releases/tag/2.7.1 The Linux packages have been submitted to the release:2 channel, and if you are using your system package manager to install fish from these channels a new version will make its way to you soon. These packages are functionally identical to 2.7.0 but are being uploaded in order to avoid the confusion we saw in the 2.1.2 cycle, where some people were concerned they were not getting the latest version of fish. A pull request for Homebrew has been submitted, and should be available to users of that system shortly.
