Hi Liv, I solved that problem by opening bash terminals all the time. And what is in the .bashrc file?
All the stuff I want to execute when opening a terminal window. In my case, .bashrc ends with: # to lighten up the day... fortune -a | cowsay -W 70; # to start the proper console :o) fish If there is .fishrc somewhere, you could put the things there. David
From this I concluded that fish_greeting might be a nice place to put things that I want to be executed when I open a new terminal window.
