the world consists of union square station at 7:30 am. who are these people? the xylophonist, the drummer, the misbegotten dancer with a dollar and some change for breakfast. sometimes, the xylophone man stops and listens to the rushing of trains the scattering of feet and he doesn't mind who his audience ignores because he knows that somewhere in the union square station is someone else who plays the xylophone.
