Dear Sirs,

i have noticed your lawnchairs and milk crates
lining my street and i must say that i really find it unnecessary
guarding your parking as you do.

what about we that don't have time to shovel
or don't have a spare set of chairs?
shouldn't we have the right to park in a spot that's close to our apartment
instead of one miles away?

I think it's irrational to think that you own the street,
and furthermore, own that bit of land
just because it's close to your house
and you parked there once,
last winter
when the snow was really bad.

So i ask you,
Next time you're shoveling your spot,
Please shovel one for me.
I will gladly park there, knowing that it was you that saved me
from hours of driving around,
so that i could get a full nights sleep.

Sincerely,
Robert's car.
