as i was walking to work
just the other day
i came upon a big commotion
there was a large crowd
and some fire trucks
and the cops were
driving around in circles
lights flashing, sirens blaring
a cat had got stuck up a palm tree
in front of a church
when i arrived
the firemen were extending
a ladder up the tree to try to get to the
cat
but it wasn't working,
the ladder only reached half way
the crowd began to panic
and then, as if on cue
jesus emerged from the church
we all held hands
as he turned water into wine
and broke bread with us.
suddenly, everything was ok.
