I have told you now, how dizzy
this swaying boat has made me,
and how, in atoms, I am flying
the distance of jets, for your name,
every sprinkled night, but did I mention
the spaces you made, as you walked
through my room, through my eye,
these trails of space, that gasped behind
you, and never seemed to end?

Where you have been and are not now,
every bit of space is crushed, every air
current falls, listlessly, that you did not stay.
They fall for a second and then jump,
to catch your attention, but thinner, thinner.

I will keep them fat, with all I can,
but really, it's placebo. They are waiting.

A little echo in my eyes,
a little space, for you; to see
whenever I turn, not you, but space,
just cast from corners. I am
saving it for you, because
I know that you will be back,
and then I will need some space,
saved out for you like this,
because you are so, so much.

All the richness in the universe
is tied to you, by spider silk, and
you toss it out daily; stars, clouds, skies
and all the rest. If you would fill these spaces,
we would not be hungry any more.
