And could you be just as you are now?
Could you get lost in my words the way I became lost in you?
For some simple yes I remain in stasis to allow
Time for you and your decisive actions to send me away or bring me close.

You are without ever a projection of asperity
But for an affirmation, wantingly always en euphoria I remain
Waiting and watching for some perfect verity
That will lead me in my actions and expressions for and of you.

You play off my sentimentalities
In ways inexplicable,
For you are not enveloped in formalities
But always know their time and their place.

And you, my beloved one, have always known
Precisely and exactingly with a whispering voice what to say.
And with a clear perception have you always shown
That you can conceive and construct beauty from any and all.

And could you now be just as you were when we first met?
Still so unsure and worried about the inequities
In your life and past, but always willing to allow a set
Of more than just pleasantries and placations but words perfect for you.

I am just as I am now, and I am who I was/
But in your eyes I can no longer be/
For, in the present, our love experiences a most severe pause/
And I, of my sadness, have left time and earth and life behind/

But will we ever to each other requite?
And come together again
To share in your arms and mine another night?
And silence does come over your face now/

Just as I'd remembered it on a perfect winter night
When each of a thousand snowflakes fell unto your eyelashes
And each caught, without creating any singular plight,
And resounded the beauty of you while you respired so softly.

And I felt your breath against unknowing-hands,
As I placed two fingers, second and third, over your lips,
Said so quietly "if ever you leave the world, don't tell me your plans."
And you promised you would never, but didn't specify the former action or the latter.

Oh, please let me go with you; I cannot bear this now and this here;
Without the synchronicity of you, I fall always in mind and body asunder.
No, my darling, you must remain forever clear/
And must trust in the ambiguity of this moment without/

Oh, but I long for you more as each day and each minute passes
For I have lost all of your beauteous self and entirety.
And I want nothing more than to be separated from the masses
And to join you again in every aspect of before.

Oh, my dear, looking out on these next few hours,
Even these next few seconds of pain,
Sends a shiver down my spine with a power
That could only have been from you

Oh, my wondrous you, my very being waits and hopes for,
A glimpse, a sign communicated of
No other love but yours.
Yet my remembrance of you lives on only in a piece, a glint of a dream once lived.

Oh, my love, how I pine for thee.
But you mustn't forget that soon we will meet/
All these years I will be without glee?
But they are just a momentary lapse in our eternity/
