that we all might grow, and live, and love.
For, if it cannot do but this,
then what use is all this technology?
We sit in our rooms, our cubicles, our homes
as in cages, and wonder why we feel alone.

It should be a book,
it could start with

you could read alone
but then flip to a chapter
if you needed some help
with some particular
section, some directory
of internal bliss manufacture;
and people could show
each other what pages
they have dog eared
late at night, in hushed tones
or I suppose, if the book
actually worked, we could
just do it at parties, on
subways, whatever.
