sigh. a moth in my house, again,
but bigger this time.
Next time, perhaps it will be as large as my hand,
perhaps it will speak to me.
instead of just fluttering.

last time it was tiny,
and I killed it with my confusion,
though it left me shining.

this one is larger, more detailed.
I want to touch it, to cup it in my hands,
and throw it out the window
to live its full moth life free.

But I move closer, it starts,
I recoil. This one I fear.
Its so large, and detailed.
I know I am safe. But what if I should hurt it?
I have heard of their wings,
covered in dust,
that a careless finger could brush away,
leaving them flightless.

We will share space then.
You are welcome.
I have fruit.
