Here in a black bed at night I think about your spring green bed and bite my lip.
--- Remember, I brought you a butterfly! Don't be mad at me for being a little worried sometimes, it comes with free butterflies! --- You pick up your cats and kiss them. They seem sleepy and content with it. But my implacable cat kisses noses and fingers, first. --- Sometimes your cheeks are so rosy. It makes me wonder what you have been doing, secretly, with your cheeks! --- I'd like to carve secret tunnels in trees, make caves underground like Never Never Land! You'd say, forebodingly, "Sounds like a lot of work." --- Let's run a race together! Come on, it's 4:39 AM and you're asleep 7 miles away. Get the fuck up! --- Hey man, what do you think about marmosets? If there was a war, who would win: Marmosets or Axolotls? --- American haiku have no syllabic restrictions. But I don't know why I am writing you American haiku in the middle of the night like this. Do you? --- Can wrists be sonorous? I imagine conductors and flag men, using their wrists to say things from inaudible distance. --- There. I was going to write you ten haiku and go to bed. This haiku, cheatingly, is the tenth. It is not really a haiku at all. _______________________________________________ Five7Five mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/five7five
