So I've been reading the poems And I'm getting maybe a little angry I mean at myself, Like maybe I've been wasting a lot of time Not writing poems
Instead I've tried to write computer programs And I guess I'm writing in idioms That seem enforced Though they also seem fine and natural but then again This disappoints me Because they're not mine and it's hard To invent your very own idioms and have them work well Why have them not? Is it selfish to worry because it doesn't work well To make things yourself?
