Hello Aslam,

   Instead of targetting the OMS you should target the Exchange which is the 
final concern. Different exchanges may work on different kind of orders and 
thus can define the order status accordingly. FIX Protocol has orderstatus 
valid values in the basket of Order status tag but than you have to see if the 
options avialable do match with what Exchange sends. Also in may cases the OMS 
can have its own defined valid values of Order Status but that generally would 
be addition to what Exchange sends.

  In case you don't have mapping with FIX values than thats the decision 
whether you differ slightly with protocol and ask the concern connecting party 
to make changes in the data dictionaries for valid values or you use FIX value 
option and redefined its meaning and share the meaning with the connecting 
party.
