Vinay, Tag 393 as the Name indicates stands for the Total Number of Securities (may be matching the Request). Assuming the request is for a List of Securities, there are two ways you can reply to a Security Definition Request - Send 1 response containing all the Securities - In this case, the value of this Tag can identify how many securities (repeating groups) are there in the response. - Send 1 message for each Security - To identify to the receiving party how many messages you may be sending for the response (with the same SecurityResponseID, 322) In case the request matches only 1 repsonse, then the value for this tag shoudl 1; Same case for no Matches. (Value = 0) HTH Vikash > > Hi, I had a query regarding the value in the Tag-393(TotNumSecurities) > in the Security Definition Response. What does it indicate in the > Security Definition Response? > > Thanks in advance, Vinay Meher.
