All, the FAST 1.2 proposal was submitted to the Global Technical Committee earlier this week and the GTC decided at a meeting yesterday that the proposal should enter a public comment period before formal voting. The continued work in the mdowg will now focus on finishing the FIX over FAST recommendation. I would also like to start compiling a number FAST encoded streams together with validated decoded streams. I envision these streams to be made available to assist in the (regression) testing process.
