Here are the definition for the 3 terms u mentioned - 

> -  Fix Engine.
A piece of software that has FIX capability - it can establish FIX connections, 
receive and send FIX messages. e.g. Commercially available FIX Engines are 
Cameron, QuickFIX etc. 
> -  Fix Hub.
These are FIX messaging service providers in the financial industry. They 
receive FIX messages from one organization translate them slightly and pass it 
on to another organization. e.g. NYFIX, AUTEX are some such service providers
> -  Fix Gateway.
You can use FIX Gateway also as a synonym of FIX Engine but usually FIX Gateway 
is used for the FIX Engine which interface with your external clients.
