I know very little about trading regulation in India, however had heard at least in the past, the regulations were onerous! That may account for why algo trading in India has been non existant. However, with DMA that situation may be evolving. Try a broad search on: India Program Trading Also see: http://www.valueresearchonline.com/story/h2_storyView.asp?str=11961 FIX / FPL / FIXatdl has zero involvement with trade regulations.
