my consulting firm just won a project to implement FIX in a small investing firm. i really want to get onto that project.. so what would you recommend for a newbie to learn FIX.. - do i need lotta knowledge of financial markets...if i do, can you pls recommend good books.. - i read thru the FIX spec but its like java spec; just straight up details. is there any book/articles that walk thru an example for FIX.. i understood most part of the FIX protocol..also to an extent the tags and purpose of each one of them..but i can't still seem to put them all together...so i am looking for examples, books, articles..[did a google search but still can't find what i want] any help is highly appreciated..
