First of all thanks for the responses on my thread regarding the QuickFix open 
source engine.  I suppose if we decide to go with this engine then we will need 
some additional tools:

1. A rules engine that would allow us to tweak incoming fix messages and such - 
maybe something like the vendow product Rules of Engagement.

2. A monitoring tool to allow us to check that status of our connections and 
get an idea of what is going on.

3. And maybe some sort of auto-certification system....I used to do this 
manually with the counterparties back at BofA, but here we'd like to try to 
automate it.

So, please let me know whether any of these tools can be gotten as freeware, 
shareware, or open source, if not feel free to email me the names of vendors 
that might be supplying these tools that can be used if we decide to go with 
QuickFix.
