Hello I am looking for advice regarding trade cancellations/corrections for our market regulation feed. I am currently using TradeID (1003) and OrigTradeID (1126) in combination with TradeReportTransType (487) for markets to send us trade cancellations and corrections. I've noted that TradeReportID (571) and TradeReportRefID (572) are also used for message chaining and that Tag 572 (based on the description) seems more appropriate for cancels/corrections. I'm also a bit confused about the description provided for Tag 1126, namely: "Used to preserve original trade id when original trade is being referenced in a subsequent trade transaction such as a transfer". Would a correction be considered a subsequent trade transaction? I'm wondering if one of these methods is more acceptable/appropriate than the other. Any advice would be greately appreciated.
