I am trying to write a FAST encoder and had some problems with checksum field. As I understand Body length is calculated as in FIX format eg - 35=A|49=ABC| and so on. Do I calculate the checksum on the decoded FIX message or of the fast encoded message ? If it is for FIX message, should we include the pmap and templateid ?
