I think it's very likely that every vendor will declare their engine is the 
best.  I think a better approach would be to (privately) ask people you know 
who have had experience with multiple vendor FIX engines.

This is not a forum for shameless self-promotion.
You should probably ask the vendors on the "Product Discussion" forum as to 
their (surely unbiased) opinions.

For the record, mine is the best  :-)
I like it best because it's mine  :-)
We are not a vendor of FIX engines, so we won't share it, so you'll have to 
look elsewhere.
