Hi All & Happy New Year, Have a couple of URGENT requests: 1. If you have any product or service related to FIXatdl please send the specific http link(s) back to me ASAP. You are welcome to send fully public links and/or links that are behind client/prospect log ins, but the end result must be to a page that clearly mentions FIXatdl (no exceptions). It can be an informal, preannouncement "to come, expected in 2Q2010" type page, that is totally O.K. Links can be to product pages, news announcements, mentions in newsletters, speeches, articles, etc. If in doubt, just send them all. If you have "To Be Announced by 3/23" intentions that are not yet posted, please also advise so we can follow up and stay in sync though the public launch. 2. If you have a specific marketing contact for your FIXatdl product or service (or a business/product manager) contact please send their name, title and email. We will be sure they are kept abreast of all cooperative marketing opportunities. We are building this list to hive off marketing activities from wrap up technical & support activities. Its fine if one person handles both tech and marketing but we need to know specifically who the marketing point of contact is. The official public launch of FIXatdl v1-1 is scheduled for 3/23. 3. If you are not getting a weekly announcement of the FIXatdl technical meetings (including agenda, updated schema, documentation and occasional follow up notes, all as they evolve) but would like to, please let me know ASAP (or if other at your firm should also be on this technical mailing list.) Things are moving rapidly at this point and anyone coding to the release candidate builds (currently at internal build 2.6.6) should avail themselves of these weekly mailings to keep 100% in sync. Latest schema and documentation are also available at the WG site: http://www.fixprotocol.org/working_groups/algowg (be sure to be logged in). Thanks! Rick PS - our Noon ET Wednesday FIXatdl meeting this week will feature draft 5 review of the Normative Documentation for V1-1, and a special :30 minute WebX demonstration of the Aegisoft.com FIXatdl regression tester. One use of this system is to enter a huge variety of FIXatdl type orders in non real time, then "play them back" at any speed and see how the downstream execution environment can manage all that at the edges. See http://www.aegisoft.com/solutions-clientsim.htm This is the first tool available in the testing/regression testing/latency/load measurement area that the Workgroup is aware of that is specifically designed to accommodate massive FIXatdl generated order flow. Note: this portion of the meeting will be "by invitation only" at the discretion of Aegisoft (sorry, no FIX testing competitors). Please contact Aegisoft asap to be included on the WebX login invitation. [You can unsubscribe from this discussion group by sending a message to mailto:[email protected]]
