As you may be aware, in September 2009 FPL developed a Global Membership Committee. Since the group’s formulation it has been focused on exploring how the organisation can enhance the range of opportunities available to FPL member firms, to ensure that the membership continues to offers maximum benefit to all participants. Additionally, the committee is taking steps to understand how the organisation can seek to attract new firms to expand the membership and profit from the fresh perspectives of new participants. To help achieve this goal FPL has decided to hire a Membership Sales Executive and is now actively recruiting for this role. Further details regarding this position are detailed below. Description: FIX Protocol Limited wishes to recruit an office based sales executive to A) proactively seek out and secure new firms as members, as well as, B) handle inbound membership enquiries and leads from existing members. The FIX Protocol is widely used around the world and a Global Membership Committee has recently been established to support our membership and has ambitious objectives in terms of new member recruitment. Working within the London Program Office as part of a small team of professional staff who support the global organization in the areas of marketing, finance and events management, the recruit shall be responsible for supporting the Regional Directors in the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions and other staff, as well as reporting back to the Global Membership Committee about their achievements to retain and recruit new members, in addition to upgrading current members. It is essential that the new resource is able to succinctly communicate the benefits of membership to prospects and has the ability to gain commitment from prospects to become members. The individual will follow this commitment throughout the membership application process as bonus remuneration will be based on the new membership fees paid against target. Specific duties will incorporate maintaining accurate records of prospects and members via the CRM system and to provide regular feedback to the Global Membership Committee of the new members secured, the membership pipeline and any associated campaigns. The individual will also have an opportunity to impact the future direction of the Global Membership Committee through feedback and suggestions as to how best to develop future membership campaigns/activities or anticipate market shifts.
