Colfax, WI - February 12th, 2010 - Assimilate Technology, Inc. announced today
the release of a suite of open source tools for working with FIX data
dictionaries used by their VersaFix open source FIX engine for the .NET
platform.

"We're pleased to be able to release a set of tools for generating and
modifying FIX data dictionaries for use with open source FIX engines," said CEO
Russ Curry. "The tremendous response that we've received to the introduction of
our VersaFix open source FIX engine for .NET has enabled us to move forward
with the development of a suite of professional open source tools that will
simplify the process of developing production trading systems using open source
technologies. The VersaFix data dictionary tool chain is just the first in a
series of open source products that we will be releasing that will save firms
significant amounts of time and money in the development of FIX protocol
applications."

The VersaFix data dictionary tool chain is licensed to the public under the
terms of the GNU General Public License, version 3.0, and the complete source
code is available as part of the standard source code distribution for
Assimilate Technology's open source VersaFix FIX engine for .NET. The tool
chain includes a data dictionary generator, a visual editor that supports
VersaFix format dictionaries, and a code generator for creating type-safe
.NET/C# assemblies based on the content of FIX dictionaries. Assimilate will
also be introducing support for the import and export of QuickFIX/J data
dictionaries in the near future.

The VersaFix project is hosted at SourceForge, the leading open source project
hosting site, and additional resources will be made available from Assimilate
Technology's website at www.assimilate.com.

Assimilate Technology Inc. was founded in 2008 and specializes in developing
software technologies to help financial firms improve the efficiency of their
electronic trading operations.
