Russ, Based on Jim's explanation at http://fixprotocol.org/discuss/read/55ec07f3 I have changed my mind and now think the new message type we are planning for MIME content over a FIX Session be declared as an Session message so that users of FIXT who are not using FIX could use this new message type.
