The Chinese Foreign Exchange Trading System (CFETS) is have clients use the IMIX protocol for trading FX. See here for some more details: http://www.hengtianservices.com/china-foreign-exchange-trading-system Has anyone on the forum implement an IMIX session? What was your experience? Just how similar is IMIX to FIX? Is the session protocol the same as FIX? What version of FIX is IMIX most closely based on (e.g. 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 etc...) Can a functioning FIX engine (say 4.2) can handle IMIX with only minor changes, e.g. to the data dictionary? Are the characters single-byte or multi-byte?
