1. Support originally introduced in FIX.4.3 as Collective Investment Vehicles (CIVs). 2. Volume 7 has a section on CIVs that explains usage. 3. The CIV industry primarily led by European participants moved to ISO 20022. There is one major FIX implementation for CIVs.
