I have a question for Mike or someone else from the Registry, has any horse
had their papers pulled for cross breeding? We all know that it's being
done, which means that there are stallions and or mares that are being bred
outside. Have any papers been pulled?
No they haven't Sherrie. We came close to doing it one time a few
years back but just as the papers were about to be pulled the horse
was sold to another party. The BOD decided that it wasn't fair to
punish the new owner for what the previous owner was doing with the
horse. I know there is crossbreeding going on & I have had several
official reports of it in the past but when they were looked into it
was found that the owner wasn't a member of NFHR & the horses were
not registered with us.
