We are not dispersing, but are still trying to place one Fjord we brought in last year for rehabilitation, plus one more we brought in earlier this summer! Our main concern is we find these two Fjords excellent long term homes. Fair Acres Honni. Out of Fair Acres Sonja and by Anvil's Jon. Rudaren granddaughter. VERY tall girl, friendly, personable, and has a strong playful streak. She has a past leg injury so would be good as a broodmare. Her colt, Sonny, is a dream! This is one of the mares we brought in last year that was starved, she has made excellent progress! Has been exposed to our stallion, Engar. $1000 NEGOTIABLE. Do not have pictures up of Honni on our website as of yet, please email or call. Sivert. 17 year old stallion out of Benita and sired by the now desceased and famous Dutch stallion, Yerxes. For pictures of Sivert and his few and fabulous offspring, please visit our website. Also, please look at the last Fjord Herald for an article on Signe III, who was sired by Sivert. He is the only stallion sired by Yerxes in North America. Due to limited handling throughout Sivert's life, we are looking for a special home for him to where his bloodlines can be preserved with the least amount of "retraining" trauma dealt him. The optimal situation would be a range/pasture type of breeding situation. Sivert handles fine for farrier and deworming. He is terrifed of needles, although a blindfold works beautifully. We would not suggest considering handbreeding him as he simply has not had enough handling in his earlier years to manage well in hand. Sivert's price is VERY good to a qualified home, and has been further reduced! Sivert's tremendous bloodlines should be preserved, but he needs an environment to where he is allowed to do what he does best; breed mares without a lot of human interference. We have routes planned to Ontario, Illinois, New Hampshire, and North Carolina. We can deliver either of the above kids along this route for a very reasonable price.
