This message is from: Jean Ernest <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Have you tried ground flax seed? The flax oil in the flax seed seems to help with some cases of Sweet itch..feeding the whole ground seed give the benefits of other phyto-nutrients and antioxidants. I buy 50# bags of food grade brown flax and grind it fresh for the horses and myself! It cost only about 75 cents /lb here in Fairbanks.
I also have heard that NEEM oil is good to repel gnats. I have some, will mix it with some vegetable oil and apply it...lots of gnats here lately.
